Easter Weekend Events in Astoria, Cannon Beach and Seaside, Oregon


Saturday, April 15th:

Seaside Annual Egg Hunt & Aquatic dive: Egg Hunt: There will be visits with the Easter Bunny and egg hunts by age (view the link to see the schedule).  Aquatic dive:  1:00pm 7-9 year olds; 1:45pm 10-17 year olds

Easter Egg Hunt at Tapiola Park in Astoria: Pre-hunt activities will include face painting, crafts, games, and more. Activities start at 11am. The hunt starts at noon.

Easter egg hunt after dark at the Astoria Recreation Center: Hunt starts at 9pm (participation is free).  Event recommended for youth ages 10 and up.Using a black light, see how many eggs you can find hidden in the dark ARC! You can bring your own flashlight or buy a glow in the dark package the day of the event.  They’ll have carnival style games and activities, such as glow in the dark face painting and glow in the dark bowling before the hunt at 8pm, tickets for the pre-hunt festivities can be purchased at the door.

Fee Free National Parks Day, April 15th & 16th: Free admission to Fort Clatsop, Lewis & Clark National Historical Park, along with special presentations, games, and programs.

The Mousetrap at Coaster Theatre Playhouse: 14th and 15th (last showing) at 7:30pm.  Based on Agatha Christie’s novel.  A group of strangers have gathered in a country manor during a treacherous snowstorm. With no possibility of reaching the outside world, they discover a murder and find themselves, one by one, under suspicion.

Lewis and Clark, or How the Finns Discovered Astoria: 14th and 15th at 7pm (Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm, March 31 through April 29. Two Sunday matinees, April 9 at 23 at 2pm). The play depicts the would-be settlers as they make their way from Missouri to the Oregon coast, suffering while battling the wild. Watch how they come to the rescue of the Corps of Discovery, reach the end of the Pacific Trail first, and settle the city they name Astoria.
