Nov. 17th – Dec. 23rd, A Christmas Carol, at the Coaster Theater (C).

Enjoy the classic Charles Dickens story at the Coaster Theater where they are celebrating their 45th anniversary.

Nov. 24th, 8-11am, Mimosa Madness (C):

Black Friday shopping! Refreshments and deals can be found all around town.

Nov. 24th, 7pm, Seaside Parade of Lights and lighting of the community tree (S):yuletride-tree-hanging_2014_smaller

Begin the holiday season in Seaside with this annual event. The parade begins on Necanicum Drive at 1st Avenue and moves on to Broadway to the musical tree of dancing lights set in the pocket park at the west end of the Carousel Mall. Take in the lighted floats, and gather around the tree to sing carols. Enjoy cookies, and warm up with hot cider and cocoa as Santa’s elf hands out candy canes to children.

Nov. 24th-26th, Seaside Boutique Artisan Fair (S):

Features handcrafted and original gifts. Purchase fine art, crafted beverages and artisan gifts. For times and more details follow the hyperlink above.  Visits with Santa: Fri. 2pm – 4pm; Sat. and Sun. Noon – 2 pm

Nov. 25th, Dec 2nd, 9th, 16th, 1-4pm, Gingerbread Tea at the Butterfield Cottage (S):

The Victorian beach cottage is transformed for Christmas time. Enjoy live music and fresh gingerbread with whipped cream or a homemade gingerbread cookie and tea, hot chocolate or hot cider. Exquisite gingerbread houses and other donated Christmas items are raffled off.

Nov. 27th to Dec. 15th Cannon Beach in Lights  &  ‘Name That Tune’ Window Display Contest:

Visit participating retailers for a chance to win a holiday gift basket, submit correct ‘Name That Tune’ playing cards for a chance to win. Holiday Lights voting at the Chamber or online at www.cannonbeach.org. Voting open through December 15th. Awards will be announced at the Coaster Theatre Play on the 16th.

Nov. 25th & Dec. 2nd, 11am-3pm, Holiday Wreath Making at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce

There will be an instructor, refreshments and holiday music.

Dec. 2nd, 7pm, Cannon Beach Chorus Holiday Concert (C):

Celebrate the sounds of the season with the Cannon Beach Chorus at the Cannon Beach Community Church.

Dec. 2nd, 1-4pm, Cannon Beach Library Holiday Tea (C):

Enjoy home baked cookies, tea and cider at the Cannon Beach Library; during the event they will draw the winner of their annual Quilt Drawing; you do not have to be present to win.

Dec. 2nd, 4pm, Lamp Lighting Ceremony (C):

Come to Sandpiper Square for an annual Cannon Beach holiday tradition. You’ll find treats and refreshments after the ceremony as well. For more details, call (503) 436-2618.

Dec. 9th, 1-4, Pictures with Santa (C):

Come support the Cannon Beach Library and get your picture with Santa at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce. For more details, call (503) 436-1391.

Dec. 26th –Dec. 29th Holiday Foods Around the World (C):

Visit participating Cannon Beach restaurants to eat unique food and beverage specials highlighting traditions from many different countries and cultures. Follow the link to see the list of restaurants and menus; call ahead to make reservations.

Dec. 27th, 7pm, Winter Holiday Concert with The Trail Band

Enjoy this 8-piece ensemble that blends brass and string arrangements of traditional and original music featuring five great vocalists. This Northwest group will give a festive holiday performance in the Coaster Theater.
