November 18 to December 23: Holiday Production at Coaster Theatre: It’s a Wonderful Life (CB).  Tickets are available here.

November 25Seaside’s Parade of Lights and Tree lighting ceremony (S)

at 7 yuletride-tree-hanging_2014_smallerp.m. along Holladay and Broadway streets in downtown Seaside. The parade is followed by a tree lighting ceremony with carols and hot cider near the intersection of Broadway and Columbia. Seaside’s tree is placed in Pocket Park – just west of the Carousel Mall.  Learn more here.

 

November 25: Mimosa Madness (CB): Shopping deals, complimentary mimosas and refreshments from 8-11am. November 25-27: Holiday Gift Fair (S) at the Seaside Convention Center. There will be over 70 local vendors. Fine art and crafted beverages are also available. Learn more here.

November 25 to December 17: Cannon Beach in Lights & ‘Name that Tune’ Window Display Contest (CB):  Come see the lighting displays in Cannon Beach’s downtown the entire month of December.  Businesses compete for awards and you can vote for your favorite online until December 16.  Visit participating retailers for a chance to win a gift basket by submitting correct ‘Name that Tune’ cards.  Contact the Chamber of Commerce for more details. Saturdays from Nov. 26th to Dec 17th: Gingerbread Tea at Butterfield Cottage (S):  Seaside’s very own historic Victorian, Butterfield Cottage at the Seaside Historical Museum is transformed for the holidays and becomes a Christmas jewel.  The house will be decorated with traditional Victorian decorations and tea, cider and gingerbread will be served.  There will also be carols and live music. November 26: Breakfast with Santa at McMenamins Gearhart Hotel at 9:00am and 11:00am (S). Enjoy a full hot breakfast until it’s your child’s turn for a photo.  Learn more here.

November 26 & December 3: Holiday Wreath Making (CB): Wreath-making event at Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce from 11am until 3pm. There will be an instructor, refreshments and holiday music!

December 3: Holiday Tea at the Cannon Beach Library (CB):  From 1 – 4pm enjoy home baked cookies, tea and holiday-tea-2014-2_smallercider at the beautifully decorated Cannon Beach Library. The winner of the library’s annual Quilt Drawing will be announced (you do not have to be present to win). For more information, click here or call (503) 436-1391.

December 3: Lamp Lighting Ceremony (CB):  The ceremony will be at Sandpiper Square beginning at 4pm. Treats and refreshments are served after the ceremony. For more information, click here or call (503) 436-2618.

December 9: Cannon Beach Chorus Holiday Concert (CB): Enjoy seasonal favorites at the Cannon Beach Community Church at 7pm. For more information, call (503) 436-0378.

December 10: Get your picture taken with Santa Claus, and participate in crafts, story time and enjoy treats.  Located at the Cannon Beach library from 1-4.  (503)436-1391
